What is The Moth's Global Community Program?

This program focuses on elevating personal stories directly from advocates who are making efforts to drive positive change and social impact in the world.

By honoring a broad range of individual experience, we believe we can challenge dominant narratives, deepen connection, and help to create a more productive dialogue across the globe.

Our thematic focuses have included women's economic empowerment, food security, gender equality, gender-based violence prevention, global health and infectious disease prevention, among others.

900+ advocates from 80+ countries in the global south are graduates of The Moth storytelling workshops, all using their personal stories to effect change in their advocacy and communications efforts.
