Curated events featuring five tellers who develop and shape their stories with our directors. Beyond theater, The Moth Mainstage is a community where entertainment and enlightenment merge.
StorySLAM
Open-mic storytelling competitions. Open to anyone with a five-minute story to share on the night’s theme. Come tell a story, or just enjoy the show!
GrandSLAM
After ten StorySLAMs in a city, the winners then compete for the title of GrandSLAM Champion with a brand new story. This is the ultimate battle of wits and words.
Special Events
Each year The Moth presents two benefits featuring a special show and party: The Moth Ball and the Moth Members' Show.
Education
Featuring high school and college students who have participated in Moth workshops in their schools.
Community
Showcases of storytellers from a wide range of populations, community organizations and non-profits.
