Lamar Sloss is a business college graduate from Tennessee currently operating Fromagio’s Artisan Cheese in Anchorage. He has been working in the culinary industry for over ten years now but still considers himself a student of the craft. Before acquiring Fromagio's, Lamar operated a crepe catering company that hosted popup events at local breweries and coffee shops utilizing as much local ingredients possible to combat Alaska’s food insecurities. He and his wife, Samantha, have three children.

Dasha Kelly Hamilton is a writer, performance artist and creative change agent, applying the creative process to facilitate dialogues around human and social wellness. She is the author of two novels, three poetry collections, four spoken word albums and one collection of personal vignettes. She has taught at colleges, conferences and classrooms and curated fellowships for emerging leaders. An Arts Envoy for the U.S. Embassy, Dasha has facilitated community-building initiatives in Botswana, Toronto, Mauritius and Beirut. Her touring production, Makin? Cake, uniquely engages communities in a forward dialogue on race, class, and equity. Dasha is a national Rubinger Fellow and, concurrently, Poet Laureate for the City of Milwaukee and the State of Wisconsin.

Monica Woo
Monica L. Woo and her family were early Chinese pioneers to relocate from Hong Kong to Anchorage Alaska in 1968. She got her BA from Northeastern Mills College and MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. For four decades, she held senior executive roles at global corporations, where she worked with fascinating individuals. A Moth Mainstage and StorySlam storyteller, Monica is also a writer published by The Plentitudes, The Bangalore Review, GRIFFEL, and more. By sharing her stories, she hopes to inspire all people that life is not about survival of the fittest, but evolution into better versions of ourselves.
