Our second-ever High School GrandSLAM took place on Monday. Nine high-school-student maestros took to the stage and told stories that made us laugh and made us cry. We learned about the beauty of an abandoned building, the trials of young love, and a girl’s dreams of becoming Hasidic. It was the type of magical evening that only The Moth can conjure. We have exciting plans in the year ahead.

We’re very excited to announce that we’ll be starting a new StorySLAM series in Vermont. The Moth StorySLAM is where everyday folks tell their stories. Heroes and hooligans, grandpas and undergrads, teachers, truck drivers, doctors or dog walkers… the people of Vermont!
The Vermont Moth StorySLAM will launch on Tuesday, March 18th at The Skinny Pancake and will continue throughout the season with support from VPR. The theme will be FIRSTS.
