Stand-up comedian Mike Destefano (1966-2011) used to give this summary of his life: "I am a stand up comic. Before that, I was a drug counselor. Before that, I was a drug addict. Before that, I was twelve." Besides being a regular at clubs in New York and around the country, Mike appeared on Comedy Central's Live at Gotham, Late Night With Conan O'Brien, and finished among the top five finalists on the NBC show Last Comic Standing.
