Eddie Hejka is a happy Detroiter of Polish descent, which is why is last name is pronounced Hay-ka. He is one of eleven brothers and sisters and has lived nearly all of his 57-plus years in Detroit. He is a husband, father, special education teacher, local union president, coach and activist. He thinks we should squeeze as much life into the time we have been given.
