Storytelling School with The Moth: Special Announcement

by Moth EDU

All City Postcard Fall 2020

Introducing our first ever All Country High School SLAM Team!

The Moth's Education program is incredibly excited to announce that this semester we are piloting an All Country team: a free, virtual workshop for 10th-12th graders from all over the United States.

We are now accepting applications for Fall 2020. Applications are due Monday, November 2nd and workshops start on Saturday, November 7th. You can find the application here and email allcity@themoth.org and check out themoth.org/allcity with any questions!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

All Country students meet virtually in Zoom for 6 weeks outside of school on Saturdays. They learn the craft of storytelling, practice their own Moth stories, and share them with friends, family, and fans at a small performance.

  • It's a chance to meet students from all over, learn valuable speaking and creative skills, and be a part of the magic that is The Moth!

  • Students don’t need to be performers or writers— everyone has stories to tell, and there’s no one way to tell a Moth story.

The Fall 2020 virtual workshops will be on the following dates, in Zoom:

  • Saturday, November 7
  • Saturday, November 14
  • Saturday, November 21
  • (week off for Thanksgiving)
  • Saturday, December 5
  • Saturday, December 12

SLAM performance on Saturday, December 19, 2020
