Megan Lavery resides in the far North Suburbs (basically Wisconsin) with her partner, 17-year old daughter, three rescue dogs, and the man of the house, Fred the Cat. However, home will always be Danville, IL, where she was born and raised. Megan is a health teacher on the North Shore whose passion is helping kids become good humans. Teaching important topics like mental health, consent, and addiction are her jam. She told her first story at the Wild Goose Festival in Hot Springs, NC in 2016, and she is incredibly humbled to be on the GrandSLAM stage.
