David was born and raised in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn— the Old Bed-Stuy, not the New Bed-Stuy! He recently discovered his interest in storytelling by assisting and encouraging formerly incarcerated men and women to share their stories. David Is a community leader around anti-gun and gang violence. He is also one-third of the leadership team at Second Chance Studios, which trains and employs the formerly incarcerated in the digital media field. Raw describes his storytelling style!
