Darryl "DMC" McDaniels is one third of the trailing-blazing rap group Run-DMC. In 2006, he released a solo album titled Checks, Thugs and Rock 'n Roll and also cofounded The Felix Organization which supports children in the foster care system. He has been inducted into the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame and was the subject of the recent documentary DMC: Walk This Way.
