Master Navigator Sesario Sewralur has dedicated his life to reviving traditional navigation in Micronesia and beyond. He continues to teach at Palau Community College in Palau, Micronesia. After the shipwreck the community came together to rebuild the canoe, called the Alingano Maisu, and Sesario and his crew have gone on to sail thousands of miles. In 2020 Sesario will lead a crew through the islands of Micronesia and across the Pacific to Hawaii for the Pacific Arts Festival.  If you're interested in supporting Sesario's lifework and the canoe's upcoming journey, you can send a check made out to Palau Community College with the Memo Traditional Navigation and send it by snail-mail to P.O.
