Auburn Sheaffer is a Senior Lecturer (part-time) in College Writing at The University of Akron. She won the Ohio Arts Council Award for fiction, a Citation for Teaching Excellence in Creative Writing from the University of Michigan and a Cowden Award for fiction. As a career college writing instructor with a Masters in Fine Arts (fiction), an Ohio Language Arts Grades 7-12 Teaching Certification and an Ohio Principal's license grades 5-12, she is presently seeking a more sustainable, long-term "home" for her life, skills and gifts.

Daniel Judson is a Rabbi and traffic outlaw. He’s also a professor at Hebrew College Rabbinical School in Newton, Massachusetts.

Todd Shaffer

Todd Shaffer lives in Pittsburgh with his wife, their 3 kids and dogs. He writes, bikes, flips houses and volunteers with animals and swears that he has retired from surprise party planning. His wife remains suspicious.

Raymond Christian

Raymond Christian is a retired paratrooper. He lives in Boone, NC with his wife, children, dogs and chickens. He produces the podcast What's Ray Saying which features stories born out of his own life experiences: inner city poverty, race relations, military, family, travel, and adventure.

Mary Coomer

Mary Coomer taught middle school and told fortunes in Louisville, Kentucky and Queens, New York. She took up storytelling to bribe her students into doing their work by promising a story later. She’s been described as “an egomaniac with an inferiority complex,” “a walking battlefield,” and “just plain weird.” She freely embraces the paradoxes, ambiguities, and ambivalences of this list, having tried (and failed) at denial. She teaches senior fitness at the Y, tells fortunes, teaches Laughter Yoga, and dances several times a week.
