An Oakland native, Aaron Pang is just a guy telling stories to any one who will listen. A first generation child of Chinese immigrants, a choirboy, a tech guy, and a disabled person, Aaron hopes his stories reflectnot only who he is but also inspire others to embrace their multi-faceted identities. Aaron is a regular and winner at the Bay Area MothSLAMs. When not on a stage, Aaron tells stories through code, song, fashion (@mandoclothing) and food (@tortugasf). Aaron hopes to create moments for people to connect, and thanks you for listening.
Joel Brady teaches as a faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh in the Departments of Religious Studies and Slavic Languages and Literatures. His courses include Vampire: Blood and Empire, Madness and Madmen in Russian Culture, and the History of Orthodox Christianity. Occasionally, he competes on the NBC television show American Ninja Warrior as “The Vampire Professor,” aka #vampireninja, and still can’t believe that making it to the Las Vegas Finals hasn’t gotten him tenure.Since they met in junior high, his wife Peg, has given him the inspiration for most of his story ideas, and oh yeah, their four children.
Patience Murray is an American Author, Motivational Speaker, Certified Trauma Professional and Creative Activist. In her book, Survive Then Live: The Patience Carter Story, she shows readers that life after tragedy can exist, if you push forward with everything you’ve got. When Patience isn't writing she enjoys exercising with her husband, and posting inspirational videos on her instagram. She currently resides in Miami, Florida.

Flt Lt (Rtd.) Quratulain Fatima is a policy practitioner working extensively in rural and conflict-ridden areas of Pakistan. Her focus is gender inclusive development and conflict prevention. She is the first woman to join the Pakistan Airforce, and only Pakistani woman to serve in public service and the military. Quratulain holds an advanced degree from Oxford, and is currently working on the intersection of water, conflict, technology and gender. She has saved 24 minority religion sites in rural Punjab from illegal occupation, and was a core team member for the UN-World Bank flagship study, “Pathways for Peace: Inclusive approaches to preventing violent conflict”. She was named Aspen New Voices Fellow 2018, Build Peace Fellow 2017-18 and Oxford Global Leadership Initiative Fellow 2016.
