Mainstage

Curated events featuring five tellers who develop and shape their stories with our directors. Beyond theater, The Moth Mainstage is a community where entertainment and enlightenment merge.

StorySLAM

Open-mic storytelling competitions. Open to anyone with a five-minute story to share on the night’s theme. Come tell a story, or just enjoy the show!

GrandSLAM

After ten StorySLAMs in a city, the winners then compete for the title of GrandSLAM Champion with a brand new story. This is the ultimate battle of wits and words.

Special Events

Each year The Moth presents two benefits featuring a special show and party: The Moth Ball and the Moth Members' Show.

Education

The Moth's Education Program events showcase high school and college students who have participated in Moth workshops in their schools.

Moth Ball

The Moth Ball is our most important fundraiser of the year! The evening will include a cocktail party, an elegant seated dinner, Moth storytellers, and a presentation of The Moth Legacy Award and the Storyteller of The Year Award.
