ARCHIVE OVERVIEW:
The Moth is a media company that has shaped itself around public voices, its programs that bring those voices to our stage, and its impeccable curatorial standards which craft those voices into an artform. Part of the success of these programs relies on our ability to properly collect and reliably access the large amount of information we gather every single day.
Our Archive is at the heart of this process. In fact, The Archive – defined as the interworking between Salesforce and Box – is an essential piece of The Moth’s daily operation. There isn’t a department that doesn’t rely on it in some shape or form, from the tracking and emailing of patrons and donors, to the sale and management of tickets, to the production and tracking of events, to the management of our website, to the archiving and storage of our audio/video/photo assets, and to the ultimate reviewing and production of our radios show and podcast. In short, the stability and health of our Archive is equivalent to the stability and health of The Moth as a whole.
