Alyssa Hursh currently works as a software engineer. She manages an engineering mentorship program that has helped more than 80 women and gender-diverse adults make the career transition into tech. In her free time, Alyssa teaches mountaineering and wilderness navigation, and tries to ride her bike as far as she possibly can. She lives in Portland, Oregon with a small flock of chickens and a foster pitbull named Blue.
