A native of Kansas City, Kansas, IVAN MCCLELLAN is a photojournalist and designer based in Portland, Oregon. His current photo project Eight Seconds (Instagram @eightsecs) focuses on the stories of black cowboys across the country. His essays have been featured in ESPN: The Undefeated, Dazed, Atmos, and Juxtapoz. Ivan’s work has been showcased at museums and galleries including Buffalo Bill Center of the West, The Booth Museum, Oklahoma Contemporary, and The Griffin Museum of Photography. Ivan is a husband and father of two children.
