Dan Ariely is The James B. Duke Professor of Psychology & Behavioral Economics at Duke University. His work is dedicated to helping people live more sensibly, if not rational lives. He is the author of the New York Times bestseller, Predictably Irrational, The Upside of Irrationality and The Honest Truth About Dishonesty. He holds appointments at Duke's Fuqua School of Business, the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience, the Department of Economics, and the School of Medicine, and is a senior fellow at The Kenan Institute for Ethics. In 2013 Bloomberg recognized Dan as one of the Top 50 Most Influential thinkers.
