Andrew Solomon is the author of the New York Times bestsellers Far from the Tree: Parents, Children, and the Search for Identity (winner of the National Book Critics Circle Award and many other awards) and The Noonday Demon: An Atlas of Depression, a Pulitzer Prize finalist and winner of fourteen awards, including the 2001 National Book Award. His first novel, A Stone Boat, which was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times First Fiction Award, has recently been reissued. Solomon’s work is published in twenty-two languages.
