The Moth Pop Up Porch Tour will come to Jackson at the Art Garden at Mississippi Museum of Art and the Mississippi State Fair!

Free and open to the public, The Moth Pop Up Porch, presented in collaboration with General Motors, is a brave space for sharing stories and connecting with those around you.  

At The Moth Pop Up Porch you can: 

  • Meet Moth story directors, instructors and producers 

  • Learn how to craft and pitch your own story 

  • Listen to stories from The Moth archive 

  • Attend a community event featuring local musicians, artists and creators 

  • Take part in workshops with local community organizations 

We’ll also host a Moth StorySLAM at Ecoshed. StorySLAMs are ticketed, open-mic storytelling competitions where anyone with a five-minute story based on the event’s theme can take the stage to share their story and compete for the title of StorySLAM champ! No story, no problem! Join us at the StorySLAM to meet locals from your community and listen to stories.
