Welcome storytellers and story listeners!
We’re excited to announce that starting this September, The Moth will be presenting more stories of grit(s) and steel! Our monthly Louisville StorySLAMs kick-off September 27th at Headliners Music Hall and will continue on the last Tuesday of every month. Pittsburgh StorySLAMs begin October 11th and will be held on the second Tuesday of the month at Club Café.
We’re also adding another StorySLAM on the third Monday of the month in Chicago at the Haymarket Pub & Brewery, and spreading out a bit in the Detroit area, adding a StorySLAM in nearby Ann Arbor on the third Tuesday of every month at Circus.

Moth StorySLAM expansion is based on support from local radio stations and we’re so grateful to WFPL (Louisville), Essential Public Radio and WYEP (Pittsburgh), WBEZ (Chicago), WDET (Detroit) and MPR (Michigan) for playing The Moth Radio Hour and supporting our StorySLAMS.
We are so pleased to launch these new shows. We know that Moth StorySLAMS create communities and we can’t wait to see what develops! Moth Headquarters is buckling up, eager to be blown away by the unique voices of each city.
