This year the 10,000th story graced our stages. Sometimes heartbreaking, at other times hilarious, each story offers insights into our lives. Collectively they form a unique record of the voices of our time.
And you make this all possible. Thanks to your support we will produce 270 shows across the country this year, with millions more listeners enjoying Moth stories through our public radio show and podcast.
But The Moth’s own story is more than just these impressive numbers. We are transforming the simple, timeless art of storytelling into a 21st century movement. Whether it is a high school student baring their soul in our educational programming or a Nobel Laureate on our Mainstage, we believe that everyone has a story to share and that we all benefit from listening to them.

As a not-for-profit organization, only 34% of expenses are met through ticket sales. We need your help, and now is the perfect time. Members at the $125 level and above receive two complimentary tickets to our always sold-out Members’ Mainstage show in New York City on Wednesday, November 6.
