Interning

We’ve had a few updates to our intern program! We are excited to announce it is now a longer, 6-month program.

The Moth now has two seasons for which we hire interns: Fall (July-December) and Spring (January-June). Each season we seek one Development Intern, one Multimedia intern and three Production Interns: one to support the national StorySLAM program, the other two to support the New York and touring Mainstage Programs. We are looking for applicants with a strong work ethic, a desire to learn new skills in production and a passion for stories and community building through storytelling.

All internships will take place in The Moth’s New York City office and applicants must be able to commit to the full six-month session, we do not accept applications for summer-only interns. Interns can self-elect a 20 or 32 hour per week internship. The Moth provides a weekly stipend of $250 for 32 hour/week internships and $160 for 20 hour/week internships.

The deadline for all Fall (July-December) Internships is Friday, May 1st, 2015.
